What is Osteomesh ( Osteopore )? • Osteomesh is a biological implant produced using 3D bioprinting technology from Singapore. • Ingredients: Polycaprolactone (PCL) – a biodegradable polymer approved by the FDA. • Porous 3D mesh design → creates an ideal environment for cells to grow inside. • Used in structural rhinoplasty, nasal re-surgery, supporting septum pillars. Application of 3D printing technology with tissue porous microstructure. Porous microstructure: Osteomesh® (osteomesh) is designed with a honeycomb-like interconnected porous microstructure to help create compatible conditions for tissue growth. Using 3D printing technology, exclusively designed with one smooth side and one rough side, the internal pore structure is closely linked together to help absorb and regenerate tissue better with body compatibility. Hole size: Osteomesh® (osteomesh®) is designed with a mesh size of 400µm that is optimal for growth and adhesion of tissue and cartilage cells. Increases mechanical durability, stable and long-lasting nose height, minimizes subsidence. According to scientific research by Perez and Mestres: the appropriate size of the septum ranges from (100 µm - 400µm). Therefore, 400µm is the appropriate pore size for the growth of cartilage cells and fibroblasts.
